The Advisory Board of INAM hold a meeting on the 13th of February in order to do an evaluation of the activities and results of the Institute during the period 2016-2017.

La Dra. Beatriz Julián de l'INAM va participar el dia 13 de Febrer en les jornades organitzades per l'associació Ruvid, "Jornada informativa Tecnologías Futuras y Emergentes (FET)" dirigida a conèixer les 3 principals tipus d'accions FET que existeixen , el seu potencial i animar als investigadors a presentar aquest tipus de propostes en futures convocatòries. La Dra. Julián va donar el seu punt de vista com avaluadora de la convocatòria FET .

Divendres 9 de Febrer de 2018, els estudiants Nihal Elguenani Imir i Christian David Vanegas Quintero del curs d'Introducció a les Energies Renovables, van presentar el treballs que havien realitzat a l'INAM sota la supervisió de Drialys Cárdenas Morcoso, Miguel Garcia Recedor i Ramon Arcas Martínez. Els treballs van versar sobre el desenvolupament de nous materials fotocatalítics i cèl·lules de perovskita amb diferents contactes col·lectors de buits.
