We extend our sincere congratulations to Jose Solera Rojas for the successful defense of his doctoral thesis, “Electrochemical Hydrogenation of Biomass-Derived Compounds for the Synthesis of High-Added Value Products.”
The defense took place at the Sala de Grados TD0112FR (ESTCE, Universitat Jaume I) on April 24, 2026.
Dr. Solera Rojas has been awarded the distinction of Excellent CUM LAUDE in recognition of the outstanding quality of his doctoral work.
The thesis was presented under the supervision of Dr. Elena Mas-Marzá and co-supervision of Dr. Antonio Guerrero, and was carried out at the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM).
The evaluation committee was composed of Prof. Paula E. Colavita (Trinity College Dublin), Prof. Rosa M. Arán-Ais (Universidad de Alicante), and Dr. Sergio Gonell Gómez (INAM).
