La investigadora de l'Institut de Materials Avançats (INAM) i del Departament de Física Química i Analítica de la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, Marcileia Zanatta, ha obtingut finançament de la Fundació «La Caixa» per a dur a terme un projecte que té com a objectiu l'extracció directa de CO2 de l'atmosfera i la seua conversió en productes de valor afegit, sota el títol «Materials multiconfinats avançats per a la transformació del CO₂ atmosfèric (AIR2PRODUCTS)».
