Nagihan Özbek successfully defended her doctoral thesis, entitled "Supramolecular materials based on short peptides: design, synthesis and applications," at the Universitat Jaume I. The defense took place in the Salón de Actos of the Escola de Doctorat, with Prof. Beatriu Escuder as the thesis director.
The evaluation panel, comprising Prof. Belén Altava (UJI), Dr. Santiago Díaz-Oltra (UV), and Prof. Simon J. Webb (University of Manchester), unanimously awarded Özbek the highest distinction of Cum Laude. T
