The director of the Institute for Advanced Materials Research (INAM), Prof. Juan Bisquert, and the researcher Dr. Antonio Guerrero have collaborated on the European Project Sunflower, in which they have helped to develop less toxic organic photovoltaic (OPV) materials viable for industrial production.

El Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe de València acull durant aquest mes de febrer la celebració de tallers de divulgació científica impartits per professors i estudiants de la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló (UJI). Aquesta activitat, que es va iniciar ahir dilluns i en la qual van participar un grup d'alumnes de centres d'educació secundària que visitaven el centre, es repetirà tots els dilluns de febrer.

The University Institute for Advanced Materials Research at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) has participated in the European Project Sunflower, whose objective has been the development of organic photovoltaic materials less toxic and viable for industrial production. A consortium of 17 research and business institutions has carried out this European project in the field of nanotechnology for four years and with an overall budget of 14.2 million euros, with funding of 10.1 million euros from the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission.
