Photoactive Materials for Energy | INAM Research Groups

L'Institut d'Investigació en Materials Avançats (INAM) de la Universitat Jaume I ha creat el laboratori «Reactor fotoelectroquímic per a la generació de combustibles solars i productes químics d'alt valor afegit».

Un grup d’investigadors de l’Institut de Materials Avançat de la Universitat Jaume I treballaran des del mes de gener en el desenvolupament d’un nou sistema d’imatges mèdiques (raigs X) que proporcione major sensibilitat i resolució espacial en comparació amb les que existeixen actualment (centellejadors de iodur de cesi) i que serviran per a afavorir el diagnòstic durant la intervenció i el tractament de diverses malalties com la cardiovascular (ECV) i la pulmonar obstructiva crònica (EPOC).

El catedrático de Química Inorgánica de la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón, Eduardo Peris, miembro del INAM ha sido galardonado con el prestigioso premio de Investigación Humboldt (Humboldt Research Award, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation), en la convocatoria de 2019. El premio está concedido por la fundación Humboldt y tiene una dotación económica de 60.000 Eur.
