This doctoral thesis focuses on the optimization of halide perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) for high-performance perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) by addressing three key challenges that limit their practical implementation.
Inter-batch reproducibility is improved through the optimization of purification protocols and the development of a mass–absorption correlation method. In addition, the colloidal stability of nanocrystals in polar media is investigated by comparing different alkylammonium bromide salts. Finally, benzoxazole-based self-assembled monolayers are demonstrated as effective alternatives to PEDOT:PSS as hole-injecting materials.
These approaches contribute to the development of efficient and reliable PeLEDs, providing a deeper understanding of the relationship between nanocrystal quality, surface chemistry, and device performance.
